I have always had GFs that were easy to reach, but since about six months I have been dating a girl that lives 1,5 hours away from me. We see eachother every weekend and keep in touch over skype and whatsapp during the week and its going great. It really all depends on how much effort you are welling to put into the relationship. I dont wanna be negative, but honestly if he doesnt feel like making the effort of traveling 45 minutes to see you his priorities obviously seem to be somewhere else.
