Is it normal that my best friend has ignored me for months?

My best friend and I were always very close, we hardly never fought. Since about two years ago, we wanted to move together to college. But her parents wanted her to stay at home, she started arguing with them. Since that time I never went to her house ever again. Then after I stayed four months away abroad, I came back and told her I would move to college soon (next September). She was very happy and excited to move with me. But her parents got mad at her. Suddenly she stopped seeing me, writing me and everything. We have no contact at all since 5 months ago. She won't answer my e-mail nor my phone calls. I don't want to go to her house, as I think her parents prohibited her of seeing me and I am afraid they will threaten her and that I will worsen the situation. What should I do?

  • Drop a letter in her mailbox? Sounds like her parents are too pressuring and maybe she bought into it. Either way try to get her back. Unless of course ur a bad influence lool

  • either it's because of her parents, or she could be mad at you. just wait and see, maybe she'll talk to you again eventually. if not, talk to some other friends.

  • I would say find another friend...

  • It's probably her parents who won't let her

  • Make another friend. She's not yours. Life is too short to waste you're time on high maintenance .

  • Go to her house

  • Go to her house. It sounds like you are both adults or close to it. She may need a friend.
