Is it normal that my back is sore from carrying a bag of dog food?

I went to walmart earlier and bought a 44lb bag of dog food.... I carried it in the store and from my car to my house. I am a girl but didn't think such brief lifting could make me hurt this bad. I am so sore it's really uncomfortable.

Is It Normal?

    hahahha u probably just pulled a mucle or something, but i really think that may have been a sign saying u need to excersize more :P

    Ya I did that once too, never did it again. It hurt for a few days (just sore) but it'll go away :)
