You shouldn't feel any back pain being as young.
I think it's normal to have back pain if you lead a very sedentary lifestyle and work on the computer all day long or do a very physical job that strains the back, like carrying boxes, bookbinding or something like that. And your age definitely is an important factor to consider, it's most likely to start in your late 20's and early 30's, not in your teens.
If you stretch every day and do exercises you shouldn't feel any back pain, I know this because I'm very sedentary and my back pain lessens only if I start getting active.
But if it's a numbing pain it's not normal and you should see a doctor, maybe you could have a hernia or other serious problem.
