I am a couple years younger than you but when I was in my early teens I was very disappointed with my looks. I still think and know that I am rather far on the ugly side. However, as hard as this is, I realized that I couldn't change how I looked and that I didn't care what other people thought. I have applied this to many things like auditioning to not get nervous and it is a huge improvement. I still don't like the way I look but I stay in great shape and am a rather happy guy now. One of my brothers friends told him I was like the popular football star in high school and could get any girl I wanted. Doubtful veracity but still others won't think you are so unappealing as evidenced by this. Don't waste time worrying about what you can't change!
Is it normal that my appearance affects me this much?
