Neurotypicals are typically that way (unobservant and overly socially influenced/oriented), it’s almost pitiful. If I understood you correctly, I get where you’re coming from- the kinds of things people manage to fall for is strange to me too.
lol I'm neurotypical(I think? depends on how strict of a definition of neurotypical we're usin') so I'm not totally immune. I definitely get self-concious at times and follow a long too easily, I just always know when something is wrong and it's hard for me to stop thinking about it.
But yeah I really agree with your last sentence. I do understand why people fall for stuff, it's just really sad and frustrating to me.
