Squid and octopus are used interchangeably, even though they are completely different species of cephalopod.
Lie: An untruth told with the intent to mislead others told by someone who knew 100% it was not real. Often applied to anything that isn't true or is perceived to be untrue, regardless of whether or not it was intended to deceive or whether or not the perpetrator knew was untrue or not.
