I completely agree with you, they ARE arrogant & condescending to women. In Arab countries women are property & have no rights. So thats how they were raised, even if they were born inthe US, a good percentage of their families instill this belief in them. Show them whos boss! Ha.
Maybe women were treated this way in the third century CE, but not anymore. Women are starting to have bigger roles in entertainment, business, politics, and other facets of life. It's incorrect to say women are repressed, because it is a false statement. This is coming from a Middle Eastern female, who is college educated and works in the law firm.
Same here in England.
Just because a friend of mine was haning out with a boy (hangging out, thats it), she got locked in her room and starved (Not sure if they are feeding her yet, her brothers are sneaking her food). She's currently being threatend to be sent back to her dads city (she was born in England) But not sure whats happening. My friends say she'll be sold for a goat if she gets sent away (jest) and we are trying to get social services involved (true). All this just because... well... you know. Don't want to get into an argument about it right now. You know what I meen though...
