Me abd my brother have always been close, even though he is 3 years older than me. Ever since he went to college, though, its always weird around him when he comes to visit. Ive always been introverted and quiet, and i think its me thats changed and not him. Is it normal for siblings to disconnect after one goes away to college,

    Yes, I think it is normal for things to be a little awkward at first now that you guys aren't as close due to him moving away and going to college.

    I think that's very sweet and very normal.

    A disconnect isn't abnormal either, it happens sometimes, even in the best relationships. Since you were so close before, chances are you WILL be close again in the future.

    You can not stay close if you are apart for long periods of time. You both have a life to live. Maybe after he finishes collage you two can again become close. I hope it all works out for you
