Is it normal that knife play arouses me?

I think I may have a bit of a problem. I find that cutting myself or being cut arouses me. I have dealt with this strange sexual kink for a very long time now and I feel like that I should feel guilty or messed up... but I feel like it's not a big deal.

I have multiple scars now because of this and they are becoming a problem because some people don't react well to this kink.

So my question is; is it normal that cutting myself/being cut/knife play arouses me? Or should I go in for counselling?

    Very normal. Knife play is a very common kink, and its nothing to be ashamed of. Personally , I quite enjoy knife play as well, occasionally of course, not all th time.

    I think that this is very normal, but you should learn to control your urge to cut.

      Yes, I have recently been getting the sense that would be a good idea. Not everyone reacts well to the scars, so I suppose I'll have to work on that. Thank you for commenting!
