Never had a girlfriend, never had a "proper" kiss, and I'm a virgin. I've never looked for a partner, and the only reason I would want one is to have a child, which I don't plan on having for a while now.
Continue the blood line. My want for a child will make me want a partner, and I will try to keep it a real family setting, a father, a mother and the child. If I see a rise in single mothers, then I might just adopt, I'm won't risk having my child taken away from me justbecause the other person is the mother.

What reason would you have for wanting a child if you didn't also want a partner? Just to continue the family name or something?

I can understand that. It's good that you want to keep a family setting for the child. Too many children now days don't have that...
