Here are a couple of suggestions: nonaddictive sleep aid (i.e. tylenol pm, Zzzquil, etc.), exercise early in the day, no caffeinated beverages after 2, turn off all electronics AT LEAST an hour before bedtime, set a regular bedtime and stick to it (even on the weekends), read before bed, have a bedtime routine, shower before bed, if you can't get to sleep get up and read for a little bit and then go back to bed, don't look at the clock while trying to get to sleep, make it as dark in your room as possible, make sure you're comfortable. I also have trouble going to sleep (it's 2am as I write this) and many of these have helped me when I really needed to get sleep.
IIN that it takes me hours to fall asleep?
