I'm the same way, have been for as long as I can remember. I've been to the doctor numerous times & they can't find anything abnormal in my blood tests. One doctor suggested I have sleep apnea and said I should go through a sleep study, but I don't even snore.
After reading online, I've come to the conclusion I have high levels of the sleep hormone melanin. Everything I've read goes against trying to reduce levels of melanin because it helps repair dna and fight cancer.
It's frustrating because I could be so much more productive if I wasn't always so tired. I get moderate exercise now, but even when I was running & weight training for a few years, was still the same.
IIN that it's always a struggle for me to wake up in the mornings?
