Is it normal that is pisses me off that schools waste money?

I think the main reason is that a lot of parents don't want the responsibility of teaching their children, people believe schools provide structure, ect. ect. Also a lot of children wouldn't learn a thing if they had the option to learn at home because they'd be too lazy to learn. I personally think education should be a choice and not a law, but that's just me.
