Is it normal that in 9th grade my best friend was a girl on myspace?

in 9th grade I was basically a loner but talked to this chick I randomly met on myspace all the time and on aim. All she would do is complain about how much her life sucked and talk about some asshole named masi oka because he was on some dumbfucking show called heroes. I eventually broke it off cause it was just getting ridiculous... oh yeah and at the time I was 14 she was almost 20. weird, huh?

    I have a lot of online friends. My best online friend is a girl from Indonesia, and we've known each other for 3 years. we always have a lot to talk about though :)

    it's perfectly normal to have online friends, but your relationship w/ that girl did sound kinda ridiculous, if that was all she talked about.
