Well perhaps the reason those people you despise, (who you say don't deserve love) have never gotten to experience love in the first place.. which causes them to do the ignorant things they do.
I'm not at all trying to justify their actions. But maybe their attitudes would have been a little different.
All in all, in my honest opinion it depends on the person. Ha not much of an answer it :P

One thing though: A lot of people have never experienced love, I'd say almost 80% (although not all of them like to admit that). And not all of them turn into disgusting creatures.
Hard to say really. Tough call.
Plenty of people have families that love them.
But, the people doing disgusting shit, don't really care. Selfishness overwhelms their mind :/ messed up world
