I admire you: you're doing what you want to do, instead of following the crowd! Plus, drinking in excess, drugs and smoking are bad for your health, so yeah, I'd say it's in your best interests to avoid them!
As for the religious stuff, I'm not religious myself, but if it makes you happy keep it up!
