Well, I guess that precludes moving to the SF Bay area. If you won't go over a bridge, it would take about 8 hours to drive from SF to Oakland and 12 or more to get to Marin, when it can be done in minutes if you'll cross a bridge. Seattle is also a bridgy place, I believe, and NYC but they have tunnels (also scary; a tunnel underwater; all that water above you). How in the world are you going to cross the Mississippi River, when the time comes?
Are you also afraid to fly (on an airplane, not by flapping your arms)?
I believe a lot of people feel as you do, (I do) but they are grown up enough not to let their fears rule their lives.
I guess you are not going to be an adventurer or traveler, but just pend your life between the 2 bridges on either side of your habitat.
