Honestly I started shaving when I realized how uncomfortable I was like short sleeve shirts, dresses, shorts and I didn't even think to ask my mom I just did it. Like it seemed normal, like when I got my period I didn't ask permission to use pads I just knew I needed it and I'm a woman and if something makes me feel comfortable and isn't harmful to my body I don't have to worry my mom and ask her stuff like that. She didn't even care when she found out I shaved my pits or legs till I asked her for a bandage one day lol
