My cousine died a couple of years ago and we were on our way to her funeral when this happend. We were stoped at a light and my little sister(who was about 3 at the time) was sliding down in her car seat looking out the window and said "mommy why is kerry going up into the sky"?
Kids have wonderful imaginations. I'm sure someone told her she was going up into the sky (heaven) and said that because she didn't know what it means.
That's just your way of trying to understand why she said such a thing. Children always look around and get interested in little things. She could have been looking at a bug for all you know.
My friend had the same experience last year on her way to meet me at the gym. She had an aunt who was in her 90s and also had a son who was just turned 3. As she got into the car he stopped to wave to the sky and shouted, "Bye-bye, auntie ..." My friend told him not to be silly coz auntie was not in the sky. She told me about it in the gym, just before she got a phone call - her wee aunt had taken a stroke and died a few days later :o(
It's great that people have such faith. So, the day you die should be the happiest day of your life and people should not mourn if the pope or religious people die!?
Is it normal that Im looking forward to dieing?
