Anonymous wants to know if it is normal that he is 17 and never had a girlfriend. Well good sir, it is! 17 is quite young and although many people seem to want a girlfriend or boyfriend, I can guarantee that a lot of people around then just want one for the sake of wanting one. Its possible someone could genuinely like someone though and if so, thats great! However, people also like to see how well they can work their man meat too soon and increase the population way too early. You want the girl you like to be worthwhile, not the 87th copy from the copy machine! If you were 49 and posted this, then I'd be worried.
In any case, don't worry about it! It is much less of a chance that you are ugly or shy and more of that it simply hasn't happened yet. If there is someone you like, don't worry about saying something stupid and go for it! You don't want to look back and say "I wish I did this", you want to go "I can't believe I did that, I'm a lucky guy", right?
