As a mum and a daughter I feel for you,as a daughter I found everything my mum did irritating, I just wanted to grow up and be treated like I was grown up and she never got that.but then I grew up! And became a mother and soon realised that my mum just loved me sooo much and wanted me to be safe.kids get hurt far too much, kidnapped, raped,,, all sorts of horrifying things you will soon enough learn about.she is just trying to keep you safe. Maybe explain that you know that to her and that you want to earn her trust that in a bad situation you know what you would have to do to keep safe. As for the brother thing I don't understand that and if it just because your a girl it isn't on at all. You need to ask her why.you need to talk to her about it all calmly and responsibly. Maybe try writing her a letter, that way she can't interrupt you and it's less likely to turn into an argument because you won't be speaking on the spot and she will have time to calm down after reading it.maybe give it her before school and ask for a reply after school in letter form or email...
