is it normal that im 18 and have never had a bf?

My BESTFRIEND has never had a real boyfriend either. My last relationship ended really bad (cheating, heartbreak, games) the works. She said after seeing what I went thru she's scared and doesn't want to go thru the same thing. But i told her not to let that intimidate her because love is different for everyone. Regardless of the bad I grew from the experience & I was taught a lot about love, but I fully understand her reasoning though. I lost my virginity at 17 with my ex and wouldn't change it for the world because you should be choosy with your heart. You deserve the best And don't worry about dating guys or what other people think. At your age stick to college and living. Relationships aren't what they use to be loyalty is rare, everyone wants to have a relationship but doesn't know how thats how hearts get broken and trust issues start but in real love relationships are amazing and love is wonderful but they take investments & time. So when ur ready Mr. Right will be RIGHT there. :)
