Is it normal that i write poetry about a girl that i really like?

I made a poll yesterday asking what I should do about this one girl I used to know that I have really really strong feelings for, and I was just wondering if it's normal that I have written three poems about her in the last sixteen hours.

          Like I said I was a little drunk. I had been drinking with my friends, and it's summer! Why wouldn't I be up that late!? I'm sixteen!!! Have fun and party hard!!!

            It's not any one factor that takes it over the top, but the combination.

            Being up at that time AND being drunk AND of all things to do, writing poems!

    Me people might think it's sappy but it's totally normal. Think of all the poems and songs that people have written about that very thing throughout the course of human history.
