My friend and I were discussing about whether or not it's better for a person or an animal to get hurt in a dangerous situation. I think animals should stay safe, but they think they'd rather train the animal to protect them so they stay safe. Is it normal that I'd prioritize an animal's life over a humans?
Human more important the animals. But I would rather a human I don't know die rather then my dog
For me it would of course depend on who the animal is, and who the person is in this situation.
Humans usually know better, but don't do better. We have less excuse, and lack the innocence of ignorance,
Regardless, most people are still puffed full of arrogance, which makes it difficult to care as much when they fall.
Our intelligence breeds malice, whereas, an animal follows its instincts. To the average person, other humans pose more of a threat than animals do.

I think a humans life is more important. Though I'd rather some human I don't care about die than my lovely pigeons. My cookiebirds are too important.
I put a human life over an animals life, but oddly enough it has always affected me more when an animal I had died.
