Is it normal that i would like a zombie apocalypse

Basically what the title says.
I would love to live in a zombie apocalypse-like world. Where danger lurks around the corner and there are no rules, only freedom. I would travel around the world until i'd find the perfect spot to stay. Maybe an abandoned supermarket, only for a while of course, or maybe just a tree house somewhere in the woods.
I wouldn't be alone, ofcourse. My friends would still be alive, and they would be like any other human being, grieving for their losses, but on the other side, curious about what will become of the world, curious to the dangers and weird mutantions that would obviously roam the abandoned cities. I would have a loyal pet, who'd follow me everywhere i go, he would probably be a dog, who could help me fight off the bad guys, but he would also be intelligent enough to hold his barks and respond to my calls. Humans would have made strongholds, probably in the major cities, but those aren't 100% safe, so you would have to travel around and scavenge for food and weapons or make your own stronghold. You would train every day to become a real fighter, you would do anything to survive and protect your beloved ones.
My loved relatives like my (grand)parents would be dead before the zombie apocalypse started, because they do not fit in this scenario.

It is not like i would like the human race to be extinct, or anything like that, but sometimes i think it would be better to just let nature take control. When i think of global warming and everything related there-to, i sometimes think it would be better to bring a halt to everything, and what better way then a zombie apocalypse, right?

Zombie survival tip 1: wrap yourself with black masking tape in a gimp-like suit this forms a tough barrier to prevent zombie bites penetrating your skin. The black colour will provide good camoflauge at night to stop dead or the living from discovering you.

Zombie survival tip 2: mobility is the key forget cars, helicopters, trucks and all that nonsense, rollerskates are your answer fast, silent and flexible no meat bag will get near you, done deal right?

Zombie survival tip3: everyone is expendable dont be afraid to buttfuck your freinds at the end of the day as they will probly do the same, better them than you eh?

Zombie survival tip 5: attach rubber dildos to your forearms to be used as weapons and maintain your core balance while skating.

I doubt that you'd be saying that if you were wearing clothes that haven't been washed in two months, were running out of rations whilst in the basement of a courthouse patting the entire ground down hoping for one more bullet so that you could survive for another night in hopes of finding a shirt that isn't crusted with blood and sweat all the while listening to pounding on the basement door and hoping that the desks and bookshelves hold...

Seriously, for most of us that don't have any real military expertise, we would be fucked. If you really want to live in a world of bloodsport and mindless killing machine zombies, buy yourself a plane ticket to Ethiopia. It's not as fabulous (lol) as the movies and tv shows make it look.

I know that, but that is not the point. The point is the scenario as ones fantasy describes it. The real world and its rules do not apply to a fantasy such as this one.

  • Lots of people say this, but in reality most of them would shit their pants and cry "tommy...save me mr cat" and i would be all like "no"

I know that, but that is not what my fantasy is like, and after all, it is just a fantasy. It probably won't ever happen. Not while i'm still alive, atleast.

Out of interest, where does the phrase "zombie apocalypse" come from? I see the two words linked together so much, it can't just be coincidence. I mean, is it a book, or a TV programme, or film, or computer game?

I never see "undead blight", for instance, or "mutant uprising".

I'm pumped for zombie apocalypse. I have a survival kit in my trunk. It's the adrenaline and curiosity of survival that makes me want it so much. And I can go and do anything with paying for it or consequences

A zombie apocalypse? If I was in an apocalypse, i would rather be in one after a war or something like that. The murderous and theiving humans would be bad enough. I dont need an army of the undead to add to that.

  • In order for "freedom" to be perfectly followed you have to have the ability to bring oppression to the freedom of others. Freedom in itself is a self-contradicting principle.

But yes it's normal. This thread has come up numerous times in the past.
