You're alot more likely to get pregnant without birth control or sterilization than without. Unless you actually plan on having kids later in life. But I would suggest being on BC until you're 200% ready since a child is a life committment, not a 18-21 year one.
IIN that i worry less about getting pregnant when I'm not on the pill.
