The upscale police and sqeaky clean background checks may have something to do with it, though if I'm wrong feel free to correct me.
Reality does speak for itself, and the truth is that crime exists all over and in many different forms. Go on and bring out your statistics I've heard it all before, I refuse to belive that I will become just another number on a chart due to circumstance. We make our own paths in this world and all have choices of whether or not we'll get by. And that's all there is to it.
Not bringing out statistics as they all speak for themselves.
More do people around here have anything resembling squeaky clean background checks. It is not even remotely close to the stereotypical upscale area as you put it.
We do make our own paths and decisions in life. All of us. Unfortunately, higher numbers of violent crimes and crimes in general are not committed in predominantly white neighborhoods
I've never lived in a predominantly white neighborhood so I've got nothing to compare it to honestly. Admitedly I may have speculated a bit and I'm sorry for that.
I'm lucky enough to live in an older black neighborhood so crime rarely happens at all except for when the younger kids decide to drop in.
I just hate that most blacks have this mob mentality and feel the need to defend obvious criminals with the old "it's because I'm black" phrase.
Iin that I wish there was a place for only white people to live?

I live in a predominantly white area and it is for the most part crime free.
Statistics and reality speaks for itself. Sorry to burst anyone's bubble but reality speaks for itself and is what it is.....
There us no getting around it from whatever side you may lean. Reality is truth. Get over it.

Its not due to circumstance. Its due to choice. Always.

Well yeah, that's why I also said it's up to choice. Anyone can settle, but you can choose whether or not to better yourself.
