Is it normal that i wish people on here would get notifications?

I wish people would get notifications so they would know i commented on there stories or if i replied to someones comment is it normal?

    We're toying with adding this in some form. Dappled is right that it would probably rely on the "reply" feature (which unfortunately isn't in the iphone app yet).

    We also just launched (a few min ago!) a few Favorites feature that lets you pick stories that you're interested in that you want to keep track of. Soon we'll add optional email alerts for comments on your favorites.

      I think the Favourites idea is great and covers a lot of what people wanted with tracking things they've commented on. I'll certainly be using it.

        Thanks. It'll still take a little while to flesh out the alerts part, but if you favorite stuff now it will start working for all of them at that time.

    I think they kicked around with the idea of an inbox or some way of highlighting that someone had commented on your reply. Wouldn't be easy, though, unless everyone started using the "reply" link
