I used to want to have a physical or psychological problem in order to get attention or get out of doing something. I.E. I would imagine breaking my arm right before a big exam, or getting in a car accident to avoid a responsibility. I also thought my mentally was abnormal, ergo I did have a mental problem. Then I found out I was depressed. It wouldn't hurt to look into seeking help. Even if it only involves some minor counseling.
