Yeah that's normal. Myself and all my only child friends have always wanted siblings and all my friends with siblings want to be an only child.
I think, when you're an only child you want siblings to grow up with because you want that whole brother/sister relationship ship with someone.
And when you do have siblings sometimes you wish they weren't there even though you love them because you kind of have to share your parents, you feel like you're in competition with them and lets face it, siblings would probably get annoying.
