Is it normal that i wish i could live on another planet?

I wish that we would progress much farther in technology so I could board a light speed traveling rocket so I could move to another planet in a far away galaxy light years from here. This planet has been overpopulated, ruined, and continues to get ruined by humans. Please don't misunderstand me. I don't wish death for the human race. I just don't want to be with them. IIN?

Good luck with that in your lifetime.
Venus is a bit closer, with a mean temp of 863 °F or Mars which has an atmosphere of 95 percent carbon dioxide, I think you are stuck here for the foreseeable future.
But don't get me wrong, I'm with you 100%!
Find us a starship and I'll drive.

Yeah, I know what you mean. While you want to live in a galaxy far, far away, I've always wanted to boldly go where no man has gone before.

It is very normal to want to live on other worlds, because we humans have been colonizing since time immemorial but we have run out of places to move to on Earth. The only logical long term solution to overpopulation is colonizing space. It probably won't happen in our lifetimes unless some advanced and benevolent alien species arrives with spare starships. I will be the first to jump onboard if that does happen.

What I think might happen within my lifetime is that a few humans will setup colonies on the moon and maybe at the langragian points. Certainly I look forward to the day humans set foot on Mars.

I like Earth, and if I do remember it after death, I'll miss it a lot, with that said, I know I just can't resist my curiosity. I've always wondered just what type of perspective I could gain being a completely different being altogether so I would choose another planet.
