Ummm usually people that wear them are married. If people are looking/interested they look at that particular finger for a ring.
If the ring means something special to you, then wear it on a different finger or on a necklace?
I'd say no, it's not normal to wear a ring if you're interested in finding a nice guy and knowing wearing the ring, the not nice guys come talk to you.
