I wouldn't say that I want to wait until marriage, but I do want to wait until engagement, simply for the reason that I want it to be the right guy. Society makes it seem like sex is a perfectly normal thing to do on a casual date, even a one-night stand. But I just have serious problems with fucking any guy I find on the street, you know?
The longer you have a relationship with someone, the more serious it will be when it doesn't work out. It's perfectly simple to go on a date or two and decide you're just not feeling it. But it takes a lot more to break off a relationship you've been building up for five years. I just don't want to lose my virginity to someone and then find out he's been cheating on me. Again, I don't feel the need to be married, but there must be some level of finality before I give up my virginity to someone.
