It takes some people until middle age to come to grips with their true sexuality. They may be married with kids when they figure out they are really homosexuals.
When guys are young peer pressure makes them very homophobic. As they age and gain more life experience and find out what other guys are doing in their secret lives, via internet, etc, they are emboldened to think "to hell with what others might think, this sounds like it could be fun and I wanna try it!"
Honestly, I think it goes a bit deeper than "this sounds like it could be fun and I wanna try it!" to destroy a marriage and all that goes with a realization like that. It's not just men either, you know.

I don't think I'm homosexual, always been attracted to women but its a new urge that I have of wanting a man go up in me now
