Your feelings are understandable, but I speak from experience when I say it would be best to put her behind you.
From what you say, it seems there's little mystery about why she responded as she did to your bad news. She's shallow, likely not very bright, and the relationship was probably imbalanced, with you caring for her much more than she did for you. It's possible she saw your news not as a blow to you personally, and a challenge for you and her to overcome together, but as a good excuse to end something that, as far as she was concerned, was going to finish sooner or later anyway.
If she had any interest in making things right with you, she would have reached out to you long before now. Accept that, focus on the more positive relationship you're in now, and move forward.
