Is it normal that i want to purposely get into a fight?

I have tons of inner anger built up. I think i can only release this in a fight. So, i want to get in a fight but, i think i might kill my opponent in rage, purposely. PS: No. im not gonna start problems and randomly start a fight with someone. lol. I will fight only if he starts it. So, IIN?

The second one contradicts the first one in a hillarious way when you think about it. You are so full of shit.

Ahh, right you are. I just went and had a look. It's powerful stuff, isn't it? It's nice to know he or she cares so much about these issues and has the intelligence to solve them with this inspiring rhetoric.

Tomorrow: world hunger addressed by the ironic mantra "If you ain't got enough food, you deserve to starve to death, bro".

I agree with many others that Martial Arts might be of benefit to you. It could help to control the rage.
At home, a punching bag could also help.
Hitting others intentionally to cause harm. *except in self-defense, is not Ethical.

    * Please see Rule # 14.

        The Rules Are:

        1) Survive in good health.
        2) Reproduce; but not to the extent of overpopulation and the detrimental effects thereof.
        3) Learn about this Earth / Universe in whichever field(s) of study best suits you.
        4) Work smart and efficiently, but a little hard work now and again is probably a good thing too.
        5) Be happy, keep a good sense of humour and enjoy the pursuits of life (recreation).
        6) Try to get along with others. If you can't get along, graciously walk away or try to negotiate a mutually agreeable separation
(friendship, family, love and property, etc.).
        7) Be charitable, but not to the point of dependency (A hand up is better than a hand-out).
        8) Do not impose your beliefs on others. Healthy discussion / debate is allowable.
        9) Live within your means. Try to live a moderate life. Do not overindulge.
        10) Be honest with yourself and others. Be polite and courteous with others.
        11) Conserve energy and resources. Limit your use of plastics.
        12) Be respectful of the natural environment. Do your part to prevent / control the spread of exotic and invasive flora and fauna. Encourage natural biodiversity.
        13) Do not submit to corruption and criminal intent.
        14) Use violence only in cases of self-defense, last resort or pre-emptive measures.
        15) Make a plan. (For all applicable points above).
        16) I freely admit that I have not fullfilled all of the above (to the letter), but that I try to do my best.

Any person is welcome to challenge the Rules, by making additions, deletions, improving upon or otherwise modifying the content.
HOWEVER, this MUST be done in a manner that is UNIVERSALLY ACCEPTABLE to ALL persons. This would then be voted upon by majority consensus.

You are also welcome to try to write a better set of Rules, but I then expect an opportunity to challenge them.

I do not wish to challenge this set of rules.
I would add: remember the sabbath and keep it holy, but I fear I will be called a brain dead idiot. *see rule 5b.

Will you explain your objection to the use of isms and ists to me?

I apologise if I had called you a "brain-dead idiot" in contravention to Rule #10. In my own defence, I will cite Rules #16 & #5. Once again, my humblest apologies.

Unfortunately, there are many persons in this world who do not know about this religious observance or who have other religious beliefs or who are not religious.
Furthermore, what you had stated could be easily and ambiguously construed to refer to the popular musical group, "Black Sabbath".
There are also now numerous commercial concerns which no longer hold this observance.
You are welcome to make this observation yourself, but this should be a personal preference and not imposed on others.

The use of -ists and -isms contribute to the creation of division in society. These are inventions that often lead to argumentative behaviours.
Further to this, they also contribute to stagnation of thought and learning. They change the context of conversation and often people make uninformed declarations because of this.
Perhaps, we should include this as an amendment to the Rules?

Try boxing. Boxing helps release anger.

I'm the exact opposite, getting into a fight is my biggest fear. I try to avoid confrontation as much as possible, even if it means letting someone else constantly degrade me. I know if I stick up for myself it'll make the other person mad and they'll want to fight. I just don't get it either.

I've had these feelings before too, but I realized its like inflicting my own pain on others to make myself feel at ease. And also, I knew after a fight I probably wouldn't feel any different than the way I did before, if not worse. Also what bananaface said. Being a former black belt in Karate, it's extremely satisfying even hitting bags and other objects. Knowing i'm not hurting anyone and releasing stress, its pretty nice.

I knew a guy who had a lot of anger issues and he went into martial arts and has since calmed down quite a bit. I'd suggest you do the same, it will get you into shape and will be a productive way to let your feelings out and learn to control them.
