Is it normal that i want to pierce my callus?

I started getting calluses a little while back, and I would always try to cut it off or use something rough like a pumuce stone to rub it off, but then I got this idea. Because a callus can't really feel anything, I stuck a needle through it. and it was fun because it was like piercing myself without the pain. and it kinda looked cool with an earring in it. Well, no not really lol. Anyway, I don't care if you guys think I'm a freak, I'll still do it anyway haha.. all of my posts have been marked as abnormal so I know I'm a freak lol.

    Hahaha, I love doing that with needles. Never actually stuck a ring in the callus yet.

    Callouses and corns should be regularly trimmed and filed off, because if they get too thick, they could atrophy some of your foot muscles, leading to a Podiatrist's nightmare, or more to the point- trouble walking for you. Get yourself a pair of those curved nail scissors and a Parmesan cheese grater, then go to work, especially when you get out of the shower, or better still, coming in after a rainy day with your feet soaking wet, because that would be a longer time wet and easier filing down. Another way is to get a doctor to trim the callous off with a scalpel, then repeat several visits.

    Piercing a callus to get the liquid out just seems like a normal thing to do to me. Mind you, I usually end up taking all of the skin out with scissors or something of the sort. I find that it hurts more at first but get to be comfortable again faster that way. I usually get callus on feet from new shoes or sumtin.

    Whatever you do, it's your body not mine. I don't think you're a freak, but I wouldn't do it.
