I got my own apartment (first time without roommates, etc.) about a month ago and I love it. It feels like a haven from the outside world, and I definitely feel more psychologically at peace living alone.
Normal.
Not much fun though if you are feeling unwell, It's always nice to have someone to play nurse while you are ill.
Oh, hell, no!
When I'm ill, I just want to be left the fuck alone, but my wife drives me nuts with her fussing and fretting.
Of course, in the usual way of these things, when she's unwell, I treat her like I'd like to be treated, then she gets hurt because I'm not fussing over her like a fricking mother hen.
You think that you want that but once you achieve solitude you won't like it that much
YES. You know what you want. If you can afford to do it, make it happen asap. If you change your mind later, you can always get a roommate or move.
I live alone. I like the solitude but too much of it is not pleasant, nor is it good for you mind. Friends are hard to find.
I used to yearn for the day I would live by myself. It's been eight years on and I cry everyday, at the same time, feeling desperately lonely.
Roommate can be cool at times, but some can also be drama too!!!
At least if it your house you know company going to leave eventually and it's nice to have peace of mind sometimes privacy once in awhile it's good for the soul time to meditate.
