I definitely don't agree with this. But cheating (wrong and hurtful as it may be) usually implies that there's something going wrong in the relationship. Not saying whether it's the cheater or the cheatee's fault, but speaking from a psychological standpoint there's usually a reason, lack of communication, intimacy, problems at home, long term disagreements getting in the way of the relationship... it's not as simple as "victim and scumbag". Sometimes it is. But oftentimes it's a huge symptom of an underlying problem.
