Is it normal that i want to hug my friend

My best friend is the same age as me, we both are straight females. We are 15. I really care for her, in a non sexual way, and would love to live like bachelorette forever with her when we grow up. Is it normal that I want to hug her? I have always been a cuddler, I hug my big brother when he comes back from college.
