Is it normal that i want to have sex with my first cousin?

My male cousin and I are very close. A few years ago, he was there for me after I went through a tough breakup with my fiancee. I trust his judgement and he was very supportive.
The problem: I have wanted him for many years---even when I was engaged. We are both in our late 20s and he is very sexy. I even secretly recorded him coming out of the shower twice, which verified to me how perfect his body is. (Yes I know that its illegal, but I couldn't help myself and he never found out).
I've read several posts on this website and others, so I know that it's normal to want to have sex with your own cousin. Many people have told stories about it and one day soon I hope to have my own to share.
I'm not sure how he would react if I told him flat out that I wanted to have sex with him. Deep down I think he would go for it just because I know him well. How should I go about asking him?

    Although I don't have any family members I'm attracted to, I do have an incest fetish and research this a lot.     - Ask him about his fantasies; tease him that if he thinks you're attractive, that you must be one of his fantasies. If not, "why aren't you?" Tell him you'd be flattered if he did fantasise about you. If he's open to it, hint that you fantasise about him.

    - As you're talking, be a little touchy-feely with him. Start very slow and ramp it up as you talk; sit closer to him.

    - If you think that you have brought his walls down, give him a quick kiss. If he smiles, say sorry, you couldn't help yourself, kiss him again. Hopefully things can progress from there.
    If he reacts badly, say sorry, you don't know what came over you, apologise profusely.

    Does anyone have any other suggestions? I know there are people out there who have/are having sex with their first cousins, so please let me know who it was instigated. And be realistic. I'd love to surprise him in the shower, but that's too much of a chance in case he doesn't go for it. For the record I'm 5'6", 110 lbs, 34B cup; he's 6'3", 240 lbs, so we're not a couple of hilbillies who live in a pickup truck.
