Is it normal that i want to have a jar of my own blood?

Blood is an essential thing to our survival, and it is featured prominently in many works of writing as powerful, even life-changing. All this, and yet I only rarely get a chance to see my own blood but when I receive a wound. I have recently wanted to obtain, probably through a medical specialist, about a quarter or half of a pint of my own blood to put in a sealed glass jar, just so I can look at it. IIN?

    I would honestly do the same thing, except maybe not a pint. More like a test tube full.
