Is it normal that i want to have a "damsel in distress" moment?

As a 20-year-old, I'm pretty happy. I've never been the type of girl that NEEDS a man in her life, or would crumble without one. I know I can take care of myself, and I don't expect anyone to "save" me from my problems. Despite that, I've always wanted to be a "damsel in distress." I've just always liked the idea of a guy coming in and saving the day...protecting his girlfriend/wife/crush/etc. So, is it normal?

  • yeah that's pretty normal, i think that sort of thing is just comforting to know that you boyfriend/husband is by your side ready to help you.

  • Sounds to me like you want a guy to um... "swoop in" out of nowhere. This can be arranged.
