So.. Due to family matters, our family split over a decade ago.
This year I contacted my cousin ( me being a guy her being a girl ).
She is in her twenties and I am only 18. We've spoken from time to time and sometimes I get the impression she's really into me.. though I think this is my mind's amplification of what's really going on. Idk.     Your feelings are NORMAL, and very common. Chances are, she has thought about you that way too. After all, she is a girl, and if you are decent looking, she has noticed. Maybe you should hint around the topic - casually mentioning it in a conversation (using humor would be easiest) - to see what her views are. She would probably act like she is repulsed by it... but after a few times of bringing it up (over several weeks), then I bet you would find out her deeper thoughts on it.

    Start Flirting with your cousin (joking, sitting next to her, compliment her on her looks and nice clothes, and that you like her personality). When you have a closer relationship, then you can work comments into conversations about how you adore her, admire her, and how attractive you think she is... and that you really like how close the 2 of you have become and hope it continues.

    IF she responds to all of this well, and when you 2 are together, then you can start doing things like giving her shoulder rubs, and after of few of those, then suggest you give her a body massage to relieve some tension - "just lay down and let my hands make you feel good". Well, I think you'll know if she is in the mood for you to say you like her and sexually attracted to her, or just start gently kissing her neck and shoulders as you massage.

    I went through the same like you. but things changed after we had sex. no contact. no more friendship or flirting. everything just went downwards. i still miss her till today.. but in your situation it might be different.
