Is it normal that I want to flip people off during the school day?

  • ahahahah looks like im not the only one. When I was a kid, 7 or 8 years old, I wanted to do the same thing. I even flipped the teacher a few times and got into trouble.

Heck there's a funny story about how I met my best friend. When I was 7 and at first day of school the class was made and we had to meet each other and talk, etc. The moment i laid my eyes on one kid and he said: ''hey my name is...'' I was goofing around and flipped him both hands and sort of did a dance or something in order to provoke him. He sort of got angry and confused at the same time, and we fought for the day. But afterwards we became the best of friends!

It's completely normal, and in my opinion a good thing. I personally take flipping and name calling quite lightly ever since i was 10 or so. I sort of learned that insults are just mere words and nothing more. I believe its good to have this approach to this, as you become mentally and emotionally stronger as time goes on...I remember how my fights with friends looked because of this: We'd get into an argument, end up name calling each other, cursing, telling your mom jokes, etc. in order to provoke each other, and since we all had this approach to insults we'd all end up quite creative with cursing that we'd burst into laughter in the end.
