Well, talking to your husband would help. However, maybe you should go along with the whole wedding idea. I mean it doesn't have to be dragged out, it could just be a two hour ceremony, as opposed to the 7hr one's I've been to.
7 hrs??? That's just the ceremony??? My god...I'd walk out. I've only been to one wedding...the ceremony was about 1hr20mins...but the first hour the bride was stuck in traffic, so that doesn't really count I guess...so 20mins. Easy. It was still very fairytale, though.
I totally agree with what Anime says, though. Explain why you don't want a big fuss, then compromise with a small ceremony, maybe just family and a few close friends? Save your money and your sanity.
