I had a very similiar situation, what I did was use my *own* image as an excuse to ask her to motivate me, its a very good way to get her to go excercise with you (you better be willing to go for walks and stuff otherwise your no better). If you start complaining about your own image (regardless if your in shape or not), it can make her reevalute herself without being offended or insecure, if you care about her and want it to work, this is the sweetest thing you can do, as you go on walks everyday, start complimenting her, even if nothing has changed, the positive reassurance that the effort is giving some results will give her some self worth, and give her more motivation to *keep* trying to lose weight. The trick is to make her feel good about herself, if u make her feel gross she's gonna get depressed and eat even more,
