Is it normal that i want to be in a polyamorous relationship?

I believe that you can be in love with more than one person and I am wondering if it's normal for my wife and I to want to try a polyamorous relationship (where we would invite another person/other people into our love life...not just for sex but for a meaningful relationship).

    Society makes it difficult, and well, a 3 way relationship would probably be 100% more complicated. But if you both want to try it why not? It's not like it's never been done before.
