Is it normal that i want to be buried along with my dog?

When I pass away, I would like to be buried along with my dog. Is it normal for a dog owner to want to share a grave with their dog or is it wierd? When we die, we'll both be creamated and our urns will be placed together under the ground. I want us to be buried together because I believe that we'll be certainly close and together in the afterlife.

Is It Normal?

  • Yes, pharaohs and other noble ancients used to do that.

  • Same with my cat even though I don't believe in an afterlife.

  • WTF? Good luck being buried/cremated with a pet.

    It isn't happening.

  • Sure man whatever you want.

  • I have one of my childhood dogs in a urn and the other is preserved through taxidermy.
My older GSD is having his fur collected to make a sweater and scarf.
He is also going to have arrangements made to be buried with my mima.
So honestly, no, it isn't weird.

  • I actually think that's pretty sweet.

  • The likelihood that you'll remember this when you die is small. I'm not sure crematories accept animal cremations anyway.
